Telemed was found in 1992 in Vilnius, the capitial of Lithuania, quickly grew into a well-known manufacturer of portable ultrasound scanners and OEM componets. Being passionte about personal computers, Telemed's engineers designed the first PC-based ultrasound system in 1993, while dreaming that one day the customers would be able to use their own personal computers for ultrasound imgaing. Telemed became an ISO-Certified in 2003. In the same year customers began using our USB-connected ultrasound System connected to a computer via USB interface.
